Today, I have gone through the similar experience few months ago… about the Blackberry with F words… However, these kind of people are not only confined to a building, but rather they can roam around freely.

I went to Sony roadshow @ Ion orchard. I was looking for a handycam, but I was surprised by the salesman. When I enquire him more about the product, he told me sternly“ You please don’t look for details here… go else where to find it…. Go internet find the details !!!” Yup, he got me.. I let my guard down, because I always assume that these kind of ‘unfriendly’ salesman is only confined at ‘that’ place only. But assumption does kill the cat doesn’t it… haha
So what I do with him, I do not complain to his boss….neither did I ‘fight’ him. I just smiled at him, said thank you and walked away… It’s a skill I just learned recently from anime… to mask your emotion with a smile, while at the same time unleashing your demonic aura … Yup the demonic aura I emitted is,that may he meet the ‘bigger fish’ which is going to finish him off soon
But lets analyse the matter here, it seems that some of the kids nowadays who part-timed as Salesperson, lacked passion. They have the mindset that once customer enquires about the product, they will buy that immediately. They have failed to see that everyone have different purchasing power. Asians and Westerners are different. Most Western people usually have higher purchasing power, so they will purchase after enquiring about the product. Most Asians, on the other hand will enquire and keep enquiring for a period of time which then may even resulted in them not buying at all. Thus is the reason why the people at that so called ‘computer paradise’ will tell off Asian customers, but the moment they see Angmoh in business suit, they will be like a “dog waving its tail. “
Whatever…., its no use to tell the “generation ME” nowadays, they just simply won’t listen.

Language is a tool of communication that is used for communication. It perhaps is even more powerful than Nuclear bomb as it can be used by almost everyone... one need not be from royal bloodlines or rich people to be able to use it in daily lives. The impact it can cause can yield magneficient result, just like the world currently using English as international languge that saw lots of connection between people.

Let me share my experience on how powerful language is... There was a time when i was at Hawker centre in hill where i sat in front of Malay Couple. At first they were speaking in english about their relationship matters. Then, when they noticed my presence opposite them, they switched to Malay !!! Haha guess what it is of no avail, because i could still understand...

There are a few stall at redhill that i have so called "black-listed", one of them involve language. This incident happenned because i sat in the table, in front of the stall without buying their goods. At that time, the two stall owners also occupied the same table as me since they yet to have customer. Then they said in Mandarin something which i could not understand. After a while, then they switched to Hokkien dialect( probably thinking that i was able to intercept their mandarin). Unfortunately for them, the latter seem to backfire on them. I could understand what they are saying... everything !!! muhahahaha....
They were complaining about me sitting in front of their stall, in terms of criticising my outfit - since i dressed too casually(oversized T-shirt + Cotton shorts). Since that time, i never bought anything from their stall anymore...But the point that i'm trying to emphasize here is that language is a useful tool in life.

During this holiday, my plan is to continue learning Japanese language and unexpectedly Mandarin. In the past i used to hate Mandarin to the max since i don't understand the language at all. The dis-interest in the past was also contributed by the aunty and uncle who said " You're a chinese , how come you don't speak mandarin" This kind of sentence is a major turn-off to potential learner of a language, as it sounds like the speaker is mocking the listener.

Language is afterall a useful asset, mastery of a language will lead to communication which then leads on to understanding. I wished i could have realised this earlier, but even so it is still a good thing, as at least it showed that i have reached a level of critical thinking. Take a look at my post when i first started this blog- i simply vent off my emotion without doing any thinking beforehand....

"To be chivalrous... its to be able to protect the weak, vanguishing the strong. However.. these things only happen in movies. in reality you can't even make a living by being chivalrous..."

These are the opening words of the japanese drama Ninkyo Helper... its actually a drama about Yakuza who are posted to work at old folks home for their training...However through out their training, they began to become show symphathy towards the elderly....
If an old people have memory loss, its not called senile.... its DEMENTIA !!!

There are many events that really cause us to reflect;
would you abandon your parents for the success in your job?
If your parents suffer from Alzheimer disease( memory loss) , would you still want to take care of them?

These questions are important to us, for that we live in a continent called ASIA- one where filial piety is still being uphold high.

Bah, this holiday i have just experienced what it is like to face the traffic police. Yah, i was riding Honda .... when i saw the traffic light just turned green from a distance, i speed up...

40km/h....
45.....
50.....
55..........
60.....
65......
70...

Yah by the time the speed-meter reached 70km/h, the whole motorcycle handle vibrated....probably because it is not designed to run at high speed despite on the speedometer showed that it can reached up to 100++km/h.

Back to the story again... so when i speed up and reached the zebra cross..... the traffic light suddenly become yellow and i couldn't brake on time, because Motorcycle brake will require quite a distance in order to stop at such a speed.... So... i just breakthrough it.... since there are no zebra crossing on the zebra cross as well....

But then from a far, suddenly a traffic police jumped out of nowhere and acted as if he is shouting " SURPRISE!!!" ya he stood in front of my way and put his hand infront, just like how a superman trying to stop a chunk of mass coming at him.
Of course this 'superman' can stop it, because i pressed both the brake on the handle and on the right feet such that the bike screeched and just make a soft contact with his palm...otherwise he would experience inelastic collision and fly with at least half the KE !!!!!!

Yah of course in the end i got fined....plus he shouted at me angrily....saying that my brake is loose....its quite traumatic to experience traffic incident for the first time....
