hi there, i learnt a lesson today... err.... maybe it may turn out to be funny.... well it happened in the afternoon, around 1pm.... i was on the living room, doing my homework, the television was switched on as i prefer doing homework , while listening to news in the background...

At 1pm, JAPAN Hour was shown on channel news asia and at that time i was still doing my english tuition homework... i still haven't taken my lunch yet...
As u know, Japan Hour was about food, food and foodzzzz..... when i saw the man on tv eating the "fried beef".. i was like... *gulp* ..... i suddenly felt very hungry, very very hungry to the extent that my stomach hurts and headache started to occur...

Despite after knowing the 'alert' given, i still insisted to finish my composition.... but as seconds by seconds by pass, the stomach hurt and headache worsen... i tried very hard to still hold it... but later, i quicly conclude my compo..... Then i went to eat my food... after eating, i looked at my essay and ..... WTF .... the story was soooo 'beautiful' that i folded the whole paper into a plane and threw it away.... sianz...


anyway, lessons from my experience today is that.... WHENEVER YOU'RE DOING ANYTHING... YOUR MIND MUST BE CLEAR, OR ELSE... YOUR WORK WILL BE OF LOW QUALITY....

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS:

WHENEVER YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH JAPAN HOUR OR ANY EQUIVALENT PROGRAMME, MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT HUNGRY AND IF YOU CAN, BRING ALONG A FOOD


(SO THAT YOUR SALIVA WON' KEEP DRIPPING) HAHA JUST JOKING.. XD

hi there ! haha, its had been a long time since i last updated the blog... reason being... my whole day was filled with homeworks, tests, houseworks...etc.....

hmm... this is strange... just today, one of my sec 1 friends managed to connect to me through friendster.... strange it is..and why is it so? it's because its had been 2 years that i left ghim moh secondary( now is clementi woods sec) ... 2 years!without any sort of interaction with that person...then suddenly remember me... but anyway.... its good to have more friends...=D

oh ya i just realized that staring at someone must be refrained.. well after a few researches from the library and even the internet, i found out that when you keep staring at a person, there are many negative meaning behind it..... first you are just asking for trouble, otherwords "beating"...
second reason, staring at the person is just like you're treating the person like a piece of meat....which may just be inferred as a hungry man who's saliva dripped all over just to look at the meat....
third reason, you're just disgracing and embarassing yourself.... cos when you stared at someone, it will sugest to the person that you're just like a village people that came into a city... overwhelmed by the beauty...

by the way... hehe ... until now... that "smile" still igniting inside me... its just like key that had unlocked a door for me...

hi,not much thing happened just had english tuition for the day....
In the evening just went to orchard library to return bookz.... haha, and then be kiasu, borrowed 8 bookz again(due to double your reading promotion) of the 8 bookz, 4 of them are titled either " ...FOR DUMMIES" OR " COMPLETE IDIOT" wah lao... it made me feel like a dummies and and idiot... haha jkjk.....


recently i had found out this interesting movie.. DETECTIVE CONAN;Strategy above the depths...Graphics;excellent, combination of 3D and rotating cameras....Storyline is quite touching,and the way they prove the case, it's like real ...Epilogue is like titanic scene... and i still like the ending song... NATSU WO MATSU SAIL NO YOUNI ...and also pay close attention to the ending song, cos the scene of the ship in the clip is the same as where the movie story is potrayed on....

and not all detectives themed stories are worth it for watching, cos it depends on how they solve the crime...by deduction...

maybe now, i'm a maniac for detective stories....haha.... anyway, here's Detective Conan -- strategy above the depths ....enjoy!!

hihi, well today's quite tiring....and starting from recess, i looked depressed, not because of test results , relationship or even other things... its just that i'm still in dilemma to choose whether to follow my parents words to skip school on the chinese new year celebration (16 feb) or to still come to school...

well, every chinese new year, i had not been celebrating it with my family... since everytime its just 2 days of holidays, but this time, its 4 days.... and i was told to come back on 16 feb, because on the 17 feb, it will be the last day before chinese new year, where all family members will reunite together... and there were a lot of ppl travelling that the plane tickets were fully booked.... sianz....And finally around the evening, i had decided.... to still come to school on that day....and i will try to give reasons for my parents to agree with my decision....

Haha anyway, lets start with today.... all the lessons are as usual... not much things... except for some tests that were returned... results not too bad....oh ya today's mr oh last day.... the w Wish him all the best for his future...=D .....
After school, malay remedial... and then... library duties... oh ya i found out that mdm roslina was no longer part of the library...=( sad.....

Oh ya during library duty again, i met mr poh(the librarian) 's child.... actually the child's gender remained mystery... we could not tell by appearance, if you say the child's a girl, you may still pull back your words.... and vice-versa....
Then, some students began to give suggestion.... Tingwei suggested the term "sheim" , while michelle make a joke by saying "to find out, must go and touch the child's ...." haha i was there laughing.... then michelle went to ask the child.... of course.... later we found out that the child was a boy.... well, he's very shy...he ever told me that he will run away very quickly if stranger appproaches him....

Well that's all for today....
Currently DA VINCI CODE had reached chapter 7 out of 105 (excluding the epilogue) ... furthermore, today i kept flipping a 'black book' ,btw .... its not a religious books, instead, its the book i had been looking for, 'the More detailed explaination on the laws of SIR Issac Newton', one of the person whom i idolized...

hihi, haha long time i nvr post liao... its because there're lots of tests... just today then i have the time to log into blogger... anyway lets get review what's for today...

a math, mrs toh taught us about rate of change... wootz interesting...hehe... Malay lesson, we listen to somekind like a presentation.... haha then, chemistry.... after a bit of lecturing, we went to lab... yay! it was enjoyable... tampering around with the chemicals.... and Pineapples! haha....

Then geog lessons... geog test.... studied till like siao like that, still dunno whether can pass or not.... crazy sia, in humanities, the more you write, the more chances of you hitting the point, but very risky leh.... you may ended up beating around the bushes...(writing out of point),which i often did during geog... well hope i can pass....

then one e math... haha go through locus, which i dun understand that much...and finally physics... haha mr oh, went through magnetism.
johnson,tingwei and derek, keep talking about something that i dun really get it... their topic extended from orange to blue colour thingy.... then to anti-metal??(what's that)... then to earth magnetic field... then to fire..... haha dun really understand what they're talking about..... anyway, english remedial with mrs goh, haha went through grammar worksheet.... well i can still say my english suckz ! my grammar have a lot of mistakes, and surely this blog also grammarless ....


Anyway, currently i'm reading DAN BROWN'S "Da Vinci Code" well, i'm quite late rite?? because last year, when i flipped a few pages of da vinci code, i could not even understand what the stories all about....

But for now, i decided to take it as a challenge... hehe ... lets see, is the books difficulties or my 'english' that will reigns... well, my target is to finish it in 6 weeks times, since i can only extend the loan only once....(every loan lasted for 3 weeks) ....

Hi, its had been a long time since i blogged. . . k. . . .lets see. . . .lately nothing much had

happened. . . .its just that for this week, the exam kept approaching us like the thunderstorm that always happened everyday. . .

The list of calculator allowed for O' level had been released. . . .mrs toh told me to refer to her class's notice board and i saw it. . . . my calculator model is not in the list. . . .anyway, that time we're being assisted by one girl, who prefers ppl to call her 'chiobu'. . . .if i'm not wrong her name is michelle . . . . Thanks for the assistance michelle. . . . .

From the first day i stepped in Singapore, i was using a Casio calculator model fx - 991 MS . . . . . this is the calculator that i had been holding with me. . . when taking the school entrance exam, when taking any tests and even exams and in other occassion. . . its somehow kinda like a things that brings back all the memories to me . . .

Now, i had to give up on it, because for the o' level rules disapprove the use of that particular calculator, since its able to solve quadratic equation, solve matrices, and many more. . . But the fact is, i do not even know how to use the ' special ' characteristics that it had, i'm just treating it like a normal, usual calculator. . . .

But a rule is a rule, there're nothing we can do to alter it. . . . so, i'm left with no choice but to purchase a new calculator. . . and today, i bought it. . . the model that's being used by the majority of the pupils. . . Casio fx - 85 MS. . . . . and i'm still not fluent in using the calculator, hopefully by more and more practice i'll get used to it. . . .

That's all for today. . . .

and lately happening . . . . during recess we always got a number of prefects who always kept targeting at our class, asking us to go to benches. .. .but when we observed the neighbouring class, they(pupils) stayed in class and they nvr get any visit from the prefects. . . . i'm sure there's must be a reason behind it. . . .

wah lao ! and if we go to the benches , there're a group of ppl there talking so loudly, dunno mutter something , and then laugh like mad ppl like that, so noisy can't concentrate. . .

my sad days as a librarian

well, for this post, i'm just gonna be talking about mrl ( media resource library). . . this matter had keep been bothering me all days, and you know, i don't wish to get a heart disease by keeping it inside my heart. . . so, to remove this 'virus' i'm gonna threw it up here in the blog. . .
here it goes. . .

my regret of choosing the wrong cca

Library as a cca, its not the cca that i chose by my own instinct . . . but, rather, it was one of my ex-classmates, Shunan 's recommendation ( at that time i thought he was a good friend, till i found his true colour one day. . .) when i had just joined queensway secondary school in sec 2. . . During my sec 2 years, i'm always active for library, my attendance was 100%. At sec 2, i found library is not so stressful and there are no problem generated. . . peaceful moments. . despite at that time we have shortage of librarian in duties. . .

Then, sec 3 adventure began. . . Mrs lim lay kuan was the new head of library, replacing madam roslina . . . well, since she was my form teacher in sec 2, i'm sure she will be able to do a good job, and she did. . . Then we (the librarians) were called to choose the days we wanted to do our duties. . . i chose thursday and for the beginning, its fun. . . you know why? i met some new friends, one of them is called Caiyun, she was my senior librarian, she and her ' gang ' all chose to be librarian and they did ' siao' (crazy) things there , so i joined in as well. . . haha it was such a wonderful moment. . . Around April 2006, Caiyun & her gang step down from library to prepare for prelim & N' level exam. . . for that, i was lonely, the library duties seemed to be like like in a cemetery, no joke, no talking, no fun at all ! So, at this point of time some librarians try to act big already . . .

For example; all of us did the cafe job, but then at closing time, they commanded me to go and wash the plates and wipe the table, and i follow as what they commanded, despite i'm ex-co at that time and they're not, but i tried to be nice to them. . . Soon after a few weeks, i began to feel that cafe works are more like girlish job you know, Wash dishes, serve food, wipe table . . . not manly, so i decided to change to book shelfing. . . but still , these bad librarians who worked in the cafe, everytime after cafe closure at 4pm ,they will carry out the plates and asked me to wash for them, while they idle around, relaxing away. . . i still do as they wish. . . it was because i'm blind, i do not have the courage, the bravery to stand up against them. . . cos if i say no, they will " make their own story as that i'm in the wrong"

Till, after month of june, the time whereby i got to know Johnson and Ting wei, was my turning point. . . i learnt a lot from them. . . the bravery to stand up for the right, that every man should have in themselves, become more 'gangster like' , not to threaten ppl or bully ppl, but to instead, give the alert to the 'attacker' to think twice before attacking you . . . .

day by day, i learnt to became more braver and braver, until when the whole incident repeated all over again, whereby the bad librarians asked me to wash the dishes while i was shelfing the book, i said no .... and of course they started to threaten me, and i told them to go ahead to do it if they got guts. . . Then one prefect you know, who was a librarian started to threaten me by saying that he will write down my name in the small booklet issued by mr chua to all prefects . . .and i told him to go ahead if he dare, i'll make sure he was kicked out of prefectorial board should he try to write my name in the booklet, cos threatening is not the way of the prefect !

So, i believe , my downfall in sec 4, is not because of the teachers own decision, but its from the complaint from these bad librarian. . . when 2 or three of them had convinced the teacher on how bad a student can be, of course the teacher will agree to them rite?
For sec 4, the whole week i have group study and remedial . . . monday; physics, tuesday- chemistry , wednesday- english, thursday-mother tongue, friday- a or e math... so maybe i may skip library duties if i can't make it. . .

If you're curious on whose the bad librarian, sry i can't say their name , but i will give you clue;One of them is the prefect,boy,duties on thursday last year . . . Another is a girl, who wear a specs and fat; duties and this year she's one of the ex-co member. . .
Of all, to finalize it, i'm kinda disappointed with the points given by taking library as cca . . . ppl who took choir, girl guides, band , etc have scored almost full marks, while me? only 7 points , not even half . . .

on top of that, i also kept getting resistance by the bad librarians who wanted to make use of me as their slave . . . phew very very bad leh . . . Some more, Mrs lim promised us that if we did the 'Top ten' corner in the library, she will award us with more points. . . i did 4 book reviews. . . but no points at all ! wah lao eh ! . . .

And i will try to advice all the person who i know or dont, not to ever take library as cca,cos you will feel disappointed at the end of secondary lifes, during your admission to Jc. . .

and so far, i had just realized that majority of the pupil librarians are from normal acad & technical stream, cos their days were not as stressful as the express stream, who will have group study, remedial, every days in a week .. . .

so, the moral of the story is, remember, your choice is your own, don't be influenced by the others

hi, its really rare for me to blog in the afternoon.. hahaz... ok lets go...

well, today in school is usual, all lessons happened, english, we went to ava room 2, then we proceeded to the library to choose books to be borrowed. . . then Pd, mr chai went through the thing we ought to know. . . maybe. . . then malay lesson, lol, for malay class, our 4E will be combined with 5N . . . total student in one small malay class = 41 students . . .can you imagine that ? w.o.w

then SS, i saw ms leong for the first time. . .her class may be very intensive at all time. . .then physics. . . we went through some worksheets. . . and finally chemistry, we learnt more about electrolysis, its kinda a hard topic. . .


after school i have a library meeting. . . and this is my main reason for writing this blog in daytime. . . well, its really a great disappointment for me,i had lost my library ex-co position. . . the only cca that i believe can help me to get to good JC had become hopeless to me. . .(cos my cca point at the end of sec 3 is only 7 points) but what can i expect, things that had happen no more things can be done to alter it. . . so, now i can only rely on my academic results to determine my future. . .

oh ya result of the meeting,not long again. . . there will be a trolley filled with books from 7am to 7.15am , on first and second recess. . . .going around the school. Its called mobile MRL , its a propaganda to lure more students to borrow more books from the library. . i do not really agree with this kinda of propaganda, because you know, people borrow books because they wish to do so, not because of influence or threathening. . .

Hi everyone ! sry i can't really go online in the past few days, cos in indonesia, internet down due to earthquake in Taiwan, in singapore, keep revising for physics. . .

I arrived in singapore on the 1st January 2007, around 7pm by ferry from batam.... for few days, i am feeling unusual with the sudden change in environment. . . maybe it may last for a week cos you know, when you had lived in a place for 1 months or more, and suddenly different environment, you're gonna feel unusual and even lonely. . .(this usually happen to me at night time for this few days)

well, lets just leave that thing alone shall we? lets review about today. . . hmm. . . first day of school . .. i was elated, cos i get to see all my buddies and classmates again. . . haha get to see that " girl " =) aww. . . for the subjects today, they still haven't started teaching yet, except physics. . . useless that i went to pack a bulky rucksack. . . Physics re-test were held today. . . my comment is that the paper is ok ok only. . . but not so easy. . .

oh ya i almost forgotten, during the holiday, i had been planning for this year. . . and i had decided to stop playing maplestory, audition sea, kongkong. . . yup i decided to apply it now, cos u know, when we're playing computer games, its just like a train, and i'm referring to the coal train (not electrical train like MRT). For a train to stop completely, we need to brake, but the brake is not like the vehicle brake, which can stop instantly, but for train one, you need to hit the brake and wait it to slow down. . . then stop completely. . .
With no games, i hope that i can reach my goal for this year; to put my name at the Queensway secondary school hall, under the Top student for GCE O' level exam for 2007.....

yo, hahaz yesterday early in the morning, my whole family went to stay in brastagi highland. Since its a rainy days, on our way up the hill, heavy downpour showered upon us... we were totally engulfed by mist . . . brr, it reminded me of the scene in the movie ,"SILENT HILL"

Some more, the ride was a dangerous one. . . you can't see anything around you. . . at that time, speeding like "siao beh"(crazy horse) is just looking for trouble, cos when u speed blindly, you may not have enough time to brake, another car descended to your sight and. . . bang. . . the fight is on. . .

Overall, staying at a hotel at highland is really relaxing, ahh only 1 day only. . . well to describe to you briefly, the weather was like Malaysia's Genting Highland, but not very cold as that . . . i did snapped some pics, but unfortunately, can't upload up, but, i'll upload it ASAP i returned in singapore. . .

yup yup i think dats all .. .

hihi, wah still drizzling, but good thing, not heavy downpour anymore. . . with this kinda of weather, my imagination had run wild, i had imagined that the tsunami that happened 2 years ago. . . at the date that i will nvr forget. . . 26th December 2004 at 8.05am (local time) , will happen again. . . but maybe its not possible, because from what i had read from the library, they say that tsunami happen every 70 years. . .

Oh ya, finally, i got my driving license yeah ! ! ! ! woo hoo now i'm able to drive already. . .

it had been brought to all ppl's attention that recently, the downpour were heavier and is everlasting. . . its not only in Medan, but also singapore, malaysia . . and it caused flood ! ! ! . . . diseases such as flu, or worst, dengue , etc will come during this time . . . so everyone, please take care yourself well, its just few more days before school reopens, dun fall sick on first day of school. . .

hihi long time no blog . . . hahaz , well basically not much thing happening around here, only that. . . i had completed the driving lessons and i passed the test =D , just wanna wait for about 2 days before the driving license is ready .

Aww. . . mrs pang had posted some physics homework on lead.com, and they're superb difficult. . . just realized it, cos it had been a month until i did not touch physics at all. . . and i had forgotten almost all of the topics in sec 3 , gotta start from a scratch now =) hehe

Oh yes, almost forgotten. . . . i had a no nice news for all classmates. . . well i mean. . .our sec A-Math syllabus had been much slower than the other school already. . . yup, luckily mrs toh managed to cover until binomial theorem ( topic 1 to 14 i think) during the step-ahead program, that made us to be "equal" wif other school. . . but permutation & combination were not included in final year exam. . . while other school did. . . now i'm concerning about the O ' Level exam . . . here, i managed to obtain some information from other foreign students who were studying in singapore goverment schools. . . some who i knew are from BUKIT MERAH SEC, GAN ENG SENG SEC, FAIRFIELD METHODIST SEC, CHUNG CHENG SEC( correct spelling?), BEATTY SEC, ACS (independent),SCGS , etc. . . .

out of these schools i had mentioned, the most lethal competitors will be the one from ACS, and i'm referring to the Asean scholars (dun look far far, here in indonesia i met some of them) asean scholars. . . they're very clever , other words, prodigy. . . will be hard competition leh. . . but still, we wouldn't know the result unless we try rite. . . hehe =) lets give them our best shot !

what was once your life, is now your legend....

The movie is more than expectation... cos its really…really…. I mean, its worth your money…=D this movie is unlike any other movies, which try to attract viewers because the movie got pretty women (chio bues*)

The graphic & artwork, wow…in the way they brought the dragon alive, the shooting place was also Extremely beautiful, eg: range of mountains

Storyline--For those who have read eragon books, may find a difference in the scene, Cos the movie script had been altered a bit, but still, a very interesting storyline

Actor & actresses----True to what I had mentioned in the last post, the actor & actresses were able to produce a play whereby sometimes it may touch your heart, make u laugh…

Well, there are still many that I had to mention…. But I still can’t think rite now…

Out of 5 stars, I would rate it 5 Stars, cos its really must not forget to see see =) but if you wanna watch movie because u wan romance scene, this may not interest you =) cos u know, 90% of the movies are all adventure, action=)

Hihi, I wanna tell the reader one thing.. and it is the countdown that I made for eragon release….because I made a mistake, I thought that the release will be on the 14^th dec 2006, but the truth is, its on the 13^th of December, which means, it’ll be released tomorrow… =D finally after waiting for 1 year, 12 months and 12 days…. Finally its released… can’t wait to watch it actually… hehe

I’ll expect the movie to be EXTRA EXTREMELY good, cos its directed by STEFEN FANGMEIER,the one responsible for special effect for Perfect storm,Twister, Master and Commander…..while screen play by PETER BUCHMAN, and if I remember correctly, this guy is responsible for writing the play script for KING KONG… Not forgetting the actor & actresses ….. John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons, Robert Carlyle, Djimon Hounsou, had won awards in acting world…. With Sienna Guillory, the lady who played as JILL Valentine in movie RESIDENT EVIL; APOCALYPSE.. and new comer Edward Spellers, new actor who had just being recruited …and btw, they( movie makers) says that he has a flair in acting… and guess what, he’ll be playing as the main charac, ERAGON…. Hahaz… we’ll see…

This movie shall not be a … err… u know, some kinda of movies in which the actor and actresses dun know how to act, that we can see that they’re very ‘fake’, just like the ordinary acting @ school, but I can still say that school ones will still be better than them hor…=)

Soo… hahaz dats all for today…. Tommorow’s the premiere day…and my kiasu & kiabo instinct forced me to die die must watch…. =D(big grin)

hihi now i have a very very very baaadd sore throat... its really irritating of course, fried and 'hot foods' were kept away from me... the sore throat had lasted for the last 3 days...

well for today, its sundae.... oops i mean sundays....and sundays is a peaceful day in here,since its the only holiday in a week.... and since its a fine day, i decided to learn to drive a motorcycle, since i am able to ride a bike already.... first try quite hard, cos u mus nvr let go your right hand from the handle, or else... the whole motorcycle will shut off by itself....but one thing i am still curious still is.... why in bike and motorcycle, we'll balance better if we drive it at faster speed.... if we just drive it slowly, we'll just somehow lost our balance....

phew... dats all for today... the rest of the day i'll just went out to plaza....and bought a game... "reservoir dogs" its rating is (mature 17+) ... now.. whenever i wanna buy things that have rating, for eg dvds, comics...etc... i will always choose M18 rating and below... haha dun wan go above, cos... B00R1NG u know... cos they do "this"and do "that" and do everything dats we must say ssst.....

hihi, oh ya wanna add in to last post... the blackout problem still NOT SOLVED yet... the reason why we dun have blackout in the past 2 days were because they ( power plant workers) tried to avoid causing blackout in the city, since u know...its kinda of a crowded place...so they 'set' blackout in the suburb areas..and guess what, the villagers came to the town and riot!!!! ya lor... no choice... blackout is blackout lor, rioting will not make the difference right...

oh ya just came back from driving lesson.... oh shit, i crashed the car into the wall when i was training reversing skill... truely, i was confused between how to reverse the car in the correct direction...haha luckily the instructor say it is no matter wat happen to the car, cos its meant to be like that....

oh ya i had just watched the movie, "SILENT HILL" , its a NC16 movie in singapore... but in here no rule one rite..so i heck care lor..hahaz just go ahead and watch...

The movie not sooo frightening... i think the NC16 rating is because of gruesome scene, whereby the people got ripped off into two, and the blood were spilled all over the screen, etc... oh ya also, the word "Fuck" is commonly used in the movie... storyline not okok lor... just quite complicated near the epilogue... after watching few times then i realized that the main character and child were already dead.... cos they were in their house, but they cannot connect and even see those who are still living...

hahaz good thing... the blackout were not observed in the past few days ... the local power plant got the additional back-up from outsiders....at last...
